This arrangement of the traditional academic song Gaudeamus igitur may be performed by a string quintet or string orchestra. Written with multiple optional repeats and stopping points, this piece can be as long or as short as needed to accommodate a graduation processional or recessional.
Requested by the University of South Carolina, Upstate, it has been used at each of their commencement ceremonies since 2017.
