Written to accompany the original, 1921 version of Charlie Chaplin’s silent film The Kid, Peter B. Kay’s new score is an extensive arrangement of classic chamber works, a few orchestral pieces, and a bit of his own original music.
Commissioned by the Spartanburg Philharmonic and premiered at “Espresso #2: Chaplin au lait” in October 2017.
